Splintered
In Her Head
Shape is still
Asleep
With the toys
As tall as men
The pictures in the hallway
Turning inside
Whispers
Unseen
Jumping against the sky
Slipping away
He looks
For the last time...

Robert
on 'Splintered In Her Head'...
"Inspired
by the eponymous book by Penelope Farmer".
(Cure News 11 - October 1991)
'Splintered in Her Head,' was pieced together: The drums were put down,
then we sat and thought about what to put on top. Simon tried bass parts
until bass and drums meshed, then I tried some guitar over that.... we are
primarily concentrating on the atmosphere we want to create-and then, of
course, Lol usually thinks of a title. (Trouser Press 1981)
